When You Smile Show Your Teeth Poem by Joseph Dagger

When You Smile Show Your Teeth

Rating: 0.5

If you smile show your teeth,
Don't hold back,
There with you is grace in our ridiculousness,
There's beauty,
Wholehearted,
Embracing the day, eyes wide open,
Please don't mock my happy poem,
With you I danced,
Stay awhile and enjoy the food,
Not being rude,
With you I genuinely want to intrude,
On your sadness,
To bring some laughter,
If you let me,
It's not all so bad,
Give me a chance,
To share that dance,
Stay awhile in the sun,
Looking at you,
Flowers on the wreath,
Your eyes make me smile
With my teeth
