When Stars On Earth Die Poem by Bryce Edward Coast

When Stars On Earth Die

When stars on earth die
They're reborn stars in heavens sky

Their deeds and charities abode
In hearts and minds, they are bestowed

Each year the unexpected go
Someway, somehow, we're dealt a blow

Somebody's idol, someone's friend
Who met a short and tragic end

We take with us the love they gave
We walk the roads that they first paved

The inspiration from them, drawn
Gives us the power to walk on

In life, we come to know of pain
Making sacred, things we gain

Our eyes will see their share of wonder
And hopeful dreams that fade asunder

For now let's look around, sublime
And cherish people in our time

Thanks, yes... this is yet another year with some very tragic losses and we're getting ready to step through the portal to get us to the next one. It's sad to just think of the people who impact our lives so much, who won't be coming with us this time. It's hard to think about that kind of stuff, but what we can do is live with as much conviction as they had, become stars ourselves, and do the same for others around us.

A reminder for us all to always be gracious and grateful for the people still in our lives. Thanks for the share......
