When Pain Softens Me, Deeper Is My Joy.

The more I experience
and survive,
the more I find truth
in the commanalities.
The quiet things speak to me
in loud voice, the longer
I live and wake here on earth.
Those things that live in
stillness teach me great lessons.
When pain softens me more
the deeper is my joy in my being.
