When Love Dies - Poem by Joel Roderick Bisson

Time can heal this wound
It's a tear in my heart's
Surface of kindred emotion
Which was maimed in passing
As it has come to this break
What goes around comes round
Again but I don't have time
To take another chance
On another Romance like this
Like the time when you were
Not there to be there for me
It was a time I'll never
Forget while I write
This to you now I do write
Of lost emotions, heartbreak
And rejection from you
To me you're not being fair
I wanted to say to you there
But you ignore me and my cries
For it is this day Love dies.
