I want to see
What you see
Hope, some
Possibilities…

A chance to
Live a life
I didn’t even
Know I wanted
Before I was mature
Enough to know
What it was I really needed
To be happy first
With just me

I am beyond the stage I know
To make that choice on what I wanted
Since it is no longer involves only me
What no one ever told you is
Now that your life is filled with
So many obligations, responsibilities
It will never be as easy as it was
When there was only you

So I only tell you think hard,
Know what you want before you head
Into a path that doesn’t involve only you
And all your choices now
Have consequences
