truth and compassion
came and sat beside me

each asked me to choose
one but not both

i thought they were sisters
who agree with each other

but no, one demands from me
to choose just one

truth pulled me and compassion
did the same

i got angry and truth retaliated
compassion sat there crying

until Love arrived and i decided
to choose it above them all.

since then, Harmony lived.
Peace reigned. And i too live

Like the way it used to be.
Free from anger, Free from pain.
