When I Drown Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

When I Drown

Rating: 5.0

When I drown in
my own tears,
when I cry aloud
in the midst of the night
in helpless loneliness,
You come to me
to lift me up
from the waters
and the mire
into which I fell.

How can I
ever, thank
you enough
my Lord and my God.

You come to lift me up, indeed. A prayerful hymn, one need to sing on many occasions in life. Well-penned.

Who else can lift us out of our misery? God walks with us!
