Upon the canvas of time,
Life appears like a poetry
So beautiful and sublime;
Destiny stares ironically
And often inwardly smiles,
Knowing the journey of mortals
Spreads across appalling miles.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
FATE & DESTINY
More often than not both the words are interchangeably used. However, there is a stark difference in their meanings. Whereas, fate is pre-determined and quite outside our control. However, destiny is the course of events which our life takes, it has a more positive connotation than fate, meaning what we are meant to do and be. Both determine core aspects of our lives, without these human life belies a shape on the canvas of life.
