When Everything Goes Wrong Poem by Dorian Petersen Potter

When Everything Goes Wrong

When things go wrong
And you don't have a song,
What else can you do?
At times, but either laugh or cry

Everywhere we have a day or night,
Can we keep at night the day light?
Can we always eat the same food?
No, we can not -everything has its mood!

There are occasions to celebrate,
And there are times also to agitate.
There are times to smile and cry,
And there are times to say good-bye!

We can not always be in control,
Of everything that in our direction rolls,
Can we really prevent the rain?
Nor we can't stop the thoughts in our brain

The rain will continue to fall
And the sun will answer to day's call!
Joy and pain are part of human nature
And inhabits in man's heart under all his armature

Man thinks that he can do it all,
But, he cannot; only God is that tall!
The heart of man is full of pride and sin,
And right from the beginning they crawl under his skin!

Man's accomplishments are so many,
But without God Almighty, he wouldn't have any.
Man owes everything that he has to God above,
Where does man think he would be now, without His mercy/ love?

Man is in charge of many a thing,
But only God is in control of everything.
Man is in charge of his own thoughts/soul,
Man, control them all‘fore your days are gone- give your life to Jesus, whole!
