When I was lost
No one found me
When I was ill
No one would cure me
When I cried
No one held me
When I was frightened
No one comforted me
When I was cold
No one provided warmth
When I was acussed
No one defended me
When I rose up
No one could face me
When I grew strong
No one challenged me
When I stood tall
No one could look at me
When I reached out my hand
No one refused it
