When I am happy,
When I am sad,
When I am morose, drowned, or glad,
When I have power,
When I have thrust,
When I have uncontrolled bloodlust,
When I can jump,
When I can run,
When I can stare down the barrel of a gun,
When I see joy,
When I see hope,
When I see reason to elope,
When I feel danger,
When I feel scared,
When I feel a challenge to be dared,
When I experience anything really at all,
Maybe then I can live, not stall.
