Whats Up

What’s up with this world of ours?
Fickle mankind today
Believing myths, ivory towers
Along hell’s selfish way

What’s happened to life’s truth once seen?
Life’s living facts on earth
What stumbling block’s come between?
Hindering second birth

Affected wide are churches now
With politics disease
Appeasing; knees, to idols bow
Congregations to please

Thus some called Christians are growing blind
Believing the absurd
To blunder walk as lost mankind
Deaf to God’s living Word

Jesus’ Spirit is left outside
Of houses once aflame
While burning with love Christ’s sought for bride
Wanders stumbling in shame

Religion is not the answer
Falsehood, however sweet
Such lingering deadly cancer
Will only bring defeat

Awake Zion, awake and fight
Look to God’s book ordained
Flee from darkness, walk in the Light
Till life’s Promise is gained

Jesus alone is Heaven’s Door
Free of eternal harm
Creation offers nothing more
Regardless of its charm…..
