Unrecognizable,
This picture is a blur
because you see what they see;
what they want you to see.
They don't even know that
you’re feeling insecure.
They just know the outside,
Not the part of you that’s pure.

And now you’re stuck,
can't move, can't breathe,
can't form a thought,
Just sit and stare.

You’re lost, unsure
If the person that you’re seeing
staring back is even there

Reflection's there
but you don’t realize it.
This face is yours
but you don’t recognize it.
The thought's are there
but you won’t think about it.
This glass holds truth
but you keep on denying.

You cannot hide
forever from yourself.
Make all the lies you want
But they won’t help.
Accept that you
are perfect crystal clear.
Make sure you see
what’s true inside the Mirror

Deny it all you want
Fool everyone around
You can look unfazed
but deep inside you know you’ve found
you know the truth
You know what's real
and that soon you'll just have to deal

Said something's wrong with you
When clearly that’s untrue
You may be different, but not wrong
Who you are is what makes you strong
