Let me tell you something
An important fact
One that I will beg on my knees
For you not to forget
That you saved me from the dark
You restored me to my true self
You are the reason I love everyday
You are the reason that I am changed
For a better and brighter day

People aren't perfect
Please understand
That's why it hurts when you say that you
Wish that you were with another man
When I mess up or can't fulfill the task at hand
Please love do not fret over what I write
I do truly understand
Why you say that
But it hurts with a sting
That is much like a finger prick
Or a slap across the face

You tell me to tell the truth
And then I do
When you hear it sometimes
You say you wish you were with someone else
It hurts me just like a sting
Yet please understand my love so true
That these words I write aren't meant to hurt you
They are merely an explanation of my thought's
I still love you
I still want to be your rock

Yet I say to you on this very day
That I long to be your lover in every way
Whatever it takes to play this role
Whatever it takes be yours
Whatever it takes to have your love
Whatever it takes for you never to go
Whatever it takes I tell you so
That I will do whatever it takes
Anything you wish
As long as you stay with me
I will give you anything
