Your love is like the ocean,
with eyes as blue as the sea.
Like stars on the water,
they took the breath from me.
Your voice is a melody,
I could sing it all day;
it's the same rythmic tune
God told the angels to play.
Every night as I lay down,
I see your beautiful smile.
It's always a wonderful dream;
I wish you'd stay a while.
Your arms are a sanctuary.
I always felt so safe.
In them I'm protected,
from my fears, evil, and hate.
Every moment I'm with you,
there's something in my core.
it burns within me
and makes my heart soar.
There is such a thing called love;
it's in everything you do.
