What Would You Do? Poem by Keli Mims

What Would You Do?

If I was to walk away,
Would you run after me,
Would you try to bring me back,
Or let me roam free,
Would you break down and cry,
Or let out a great cheer,
Would you be happy,
Or would you shed a tear,
What would you do,
If I was to walk away,
Planing to never come back,
What would you say,
Would you confess a love,
Would you tell me to run faster,
To hurry up and leave,
Would you fall down,
and cry out and beg me,
Would you follow me,
If I was to walk away,
would you run after me,
or let me go my way,
Would you run after me,
Would you speak harsh words,
Or say about time,
Or bid me comeback,
Or let my heart on the line,
Fall and shatter,
Would you be indifferent,
and couldn't care less.

If I was to walk away.
