What's A Poem? Poem by Jim Tebow

What's A Poem?

What's a modern poem today,
without any rhyme or structure?
Is it smart or is it clay?
I think that all art may rupture.

Nice point Jim. I think it's all down to what one likes. Rhymes are poetry to me as they were what I was brought up on. Can't write anything else. Nice start. Keep going. Lizzy.x

You raise a very very good point and the argument will never be settled! Nice to meet you, Jim, keep writing, Linda

Hi Jim, Succint and to the point! I think I have learned from this site that poetry can be anything and everything. Raw expression or eloquent fluency. All are welcomed into the poemhunter.com community :) Best wishes, Aisha
