What Really Happened. Poem by Veselin Vanchev

Jack was a man, Jack is now dead.
Jack was sarcastic. That must be said.
Jack was strong. Jack never cried.
Even the King was struck by his might.

But Jack had a problem. He was in love.
This is what made him dig his own grove.

His Queen also loved him.
She was insane.
Lucky for their love Jack was to blame.
And talking of luck, that was he was keeping within.
The last moment Ace under his skin.

When they were finally together.
Jack spoken first.
' I love you my sweetheart. I owe you my trust.
I cant live without you, I prefer burning in nether.
Ill do what I must to be with you forever.''

She smiled and kissed him.
Destroying his soul.
' Why is this world so brutal and cruel.
I will be gone in less than an hour.
But you will be the one left out, devoured.

Jack started crying. The days went by.
His Queen managed to do it. She found a new life.
And Jack waited forever. She never came back.
He wanted to follow her. He had only one track.

With all the love and luck he had he passed the line.
The saddest man was the last one to die.
His promise was kept for the price of his memories.
Agains the chance even after the centuries.

He wandered seeking her without even knowing it.
The impossible is exactly what gambling did.

The day was bright, the sky - still red.
The air filled with scent of words never said.
Jack was walking down the street
when he heard familiar beat.

Jack and his Queen once had a song.
The pull to the sound was to resist just too strong.
And then magic happend and Jack met her again.
A girl was singing, he could catch the romance.

He started talking to her, even thou theyve never met.
Or did they? He asked her and started to sweat.
...
Afterall love is love she can never die.
All you have to do is with patience to try.
The girl with white hair and the boy with brown eyes.
Holding hands, waiting for the sun to rise.

Thats it... End of the story.
They were together forever.
Theres nothing to worry.
With new memories with every new life.
With the same feelings after a thousand dives.

And just one last thing to mention.
It was all thanks to his luck.
Or maybe its fate? Or maybe chance sucks?
And after this his Joker was fend.
The only love story with a happy end.
