What No One Sees
In the shadows I hide...
And at night I ride...
Because in the dark I find tranquility...
But somehow someone saved me...
And out of the ashes I rose...
Yet somehow no one knows...
In a world of black...
I now see what I lack...
I do not see what you love in me...
But you give me a new life to lead...
And now I see...
Your all ill ever need...

Your imagery should sustain your theme with reason (i.e. where did the ashes come from) . Sometimes brevity needs more soul. Keep crafting your work til you say I can't improve it one more letter.
