You try to get free of its grasp…

You always try to win, but it wont let you…

But somehow there's a shred of hope…
Ant it's a light at the end of the tunnel…
Somehow life isn't cruel…
But now and then there's a shred of hope…
And life is cruel…

But that hope grows and lives on…
It fills you with happiness…
