What Is Love?
Question often asked is, "What is love?"
Love is like the rays of sunshine from above,
It is the energizer that stimulates the human soul.
Love makes the timid one uninhibitively bold. Love reaches out in a circular manner
And reveals its existence like words on a banner.
Love is a stimulant that changes inaction to action
And expresses itself in a passionate fashion. Love makes itself known by a devotion to small things
That (to its object) comforts and happiness brings.
Love is ever constant in its attention to other's needs
And expresses this constancy in thoughts, words and deeds.

Dr. Butler is prolific in content and superb in diction. The subtle yet universally accepted norms of love are beautifully portrayed and the reader finds himself in an emotional union with the poet. Its very well written. Good poems are expected from Dr. Butler.
