What is love?
Oh, great ocean, what is love?
Is it like the fish love you?

They breathe you in
Have you within
But don't know what you are

What is love?
Oh, jungle tree, what is love?
Is it like the animals love you?

They swing through your vines
They need you for their lives
But there's lots of 'you' around the corner

What is love?
Oh, perfect God, what is love?
It is the way you love us

Although we tell lies
You hear our cries
And forever, unconditionally, love
