What is love?

When you can’t be with the person of your desire
When you are separated by distance and time
When you are so distance and it feels like a crime
When you make love every night
And in the morning, you find- it was just a dream.

What- is- love- then?

When you have a thousand kisses in your pocket
And have sent angels in a rocket
To protect her day and night.
But after waiting so long for her to come home;
She is NO-MORE and her love is gone.

What - is – love - then?

What is love when you have lonely nights
When you try to call her and she says: “Go fly a kite”
What is love when she ignores your e-mails
When her cell phone is always on voice-mails
What is love when she brings you sorrow
While she on the ‘moon’ and ‘can’t wait for tomorrow’.

When you can’t take it anymore, coz your heart is sore
After hearing – “it’s another man’s child she’s born”
When therez no more dinner with roses and red wine
And no more rollin ice cubes on her spine.
When its suits her fine,
To go out with another man on a valentine’s.

What is love when she’s gone forever:
A plane has crashed and she drowns in the river.
What is love when memories flow by,
Of your loved one - gone without a goodbye.
What is love when you sit lonely on the bed-side
Thinking about a funeral you have to attend.
