What Is Complex And Yet Is Simple
What is complex and yet is simple?
Life is!
Sure, when you love a girl or boy, it's true all manner of nasty things can happen, like they not loving you back. Having to compromise from time to time and forego your desires, arguments and such, but before you think about all that simply tell them that you love them.
What is complex and yet is simple?
Love is!
Sure, life like love is also uncertain and can leave you hurt, your dreams left in tatters, but if you do not try to seize the day from the beginning it is then when you stop living. Life is simply, well, for living.
What is complex and yet is simple?
Well, life is!
Indeed life is complex and scary. But from this fear we are all weary. Know this, that there are many, just like you who want to live and breathe the air of freedom. And what is life but ye' all the masses. You make life what it is; you can remake it, pure and simple. No longer scared of life, seizing life by the hand and letting it be our friend.

The only things keeping us from being happy are too much thinking and fear. All to often are we told that we need to forego our desires, suppress our emotions and forget our dream. I wrote this poem in order to tell people that we are not helpless, life is not something apart from us, something we have to put up with, but life is us. The poem was not written for the contest, but I figured it could get some exposure by participating, and if I had made one of you smile, I judge it a success. P.S Don't be too competitive, and don't judge each other too harshly
