What If? Poem by Mbusya Wa Mbusya

What If?

Rating: 5.0

What if we lose the track home
And I take the wrong long one,
What if you arrive after I am gone,
And nobody knows the path I took,
What if what you felt was right,
And I had been wrong all along,
What if our roads diverges forever,
And our footprints blown out by wind,
What if there will never be a sunshine,
And the morning dew bloom to rivers,
What if we will never ever meet again,
And you never said what you really felt,
But if I was just right I am wrenched,
Down, deep and inside me, I am drenched,
And if it was just a wall between us,
And we faced opposite of each other
And I had to blow the candle out,
When you were just by the window...
What if I lost all my phone and email,
And I won't reach you any day-forever,

Please tell me, Will you cry?
