What do you see when you look at me?
I often wonder what on earth it could be
Do you still see the new girl on the street?
Who was scared of the new people she’d have to meet
Or the quiet friend you started to know
Many hidden Secrets still unwilling to show
you make me laugh and continue to amaze
you make me happy in so many ways
As time moved on you came to care
And our friendship became something truly rare
Now we are as close as we can be
But I still wonder what do you see?
