What do you do there Jagannath?

With the vast sea
What do you do there?

What do you do there Jagannath?
On that seabeach
The whole day and the whole night
With the sun and
With the moon?

What do you do there
With all policemen,
With all magisterial power?

What do you do there
With the common men Jagannath?

Are you there really
With the common people?

What is inside to you,
That is outside to us.
And what is outside to you
That is inside to us.

Where is the truth Jagannath?
And where are you?
Your open eyes
And your smile
Tell so many things Jagannath,
But we are the fools
Not able to follow you.
