what do i wish for?
wishes,
they come and go

but you and i
are what we are here for.

and amongst the million little dreams
and the moments passed
it is a wish of things
that kept us alive.

things that sometimes mattered
sometimes not,
things that we held together
closer to our hearts
as we walked amongst the roads
of this world.

the world in tears
a world in tatters
that we grew up in,
it is the things that
we came to notice.

but amongst it all
upon the mountain tops
and beneath the deepest seas
it was you and me
that journeyed through life

of hopes and fears
and little clouds of joy
is the icing of the cake
that represented our days.


so here we are
on a wishful dream
that carried us
throughout our lives.
