What A Beautiful Dragonfly



blue yes, gossamer wings
red tail, black feet and

bluish sky body of a
peaceful day ona brown

branch of a tree, caught
by the hands of a child

who says he loves dragonflies
amazed by its light beauty

a moment later he tears it
separating the body from its head

wings falling to the ground
heard, the child's silly laughter.
