Welcome The Storm Poem by Krazy Rae

Welcome the rain.
Let is fall and replenish your soul.
Let it cleans those tormented feelings.
Let the gray clouds settle in for a while.
Be not afraid of the feeling of gloominess.
For after the gloominess comes happiness.
It's okay to feel uncomfortable.
It's alright to not be used to it.
Many are not the type to enjoy the gray, dreary, rainy days
that many find boring and dull.
Though many may find it so, I find it re-energizing, calming, and relaxing.
As lightning crashes around I'm awed by its power.
And as the sound of thunder reaches my ears, I am
reminded of how small I really am.
And as the rain patters on my window I'm reminded of the
tears that fall for him that I miss so much.
But for my sake I gladly open up and welcome the
storm to come and clear these trouble some emotions.
