Welcome Tears-
you came my way,
so I may know Comfort,
in my saddest of days.

Welcome Pain-
so I might see,
how to look up,
with a longing for Thee.

Welcome Grief-
how else would I know,
the One who heals,
while loving me so.

Welcome Sorrow-
through you I know best,
the One who brings peace,
to a soul needing rest.

Welcome Suffering-
you came to me,
then I knew Jesus,
as He hung on the tree.

Welcome Death-
you looked right at me,
I could only see Him,
and a sweet victory.

Welcome Perseverance-
as long as it takes,
for blessings of Hope,
have dawned in the wake.
