Weeping Heart Poem by Kyon Shade

Weeping Heart

O heart thou art poisoned.
Engulfed by the paroxysm of grief.
Yearning in solitude.
Bewildered and bereft.

Robbed and raped of dignity.
Thy prized possession they have taken.
Trampled upon thy sacred rose.

O Fury of God.
Bring forth fire and brimstone that once destroyed Sodom.
Cast it upon the villains.
Thou hast injured me.
Thou hast vehemently aroused my violent temper.
And thou shall be rewarded for thy treachery.

My garden has been ravished.
The stem of my precious rose plucked.
Destroyed by savagery.
Taken from me in the most profane manner.

Lord, remedy not my rancour.
I am a father robbed.
My rose has been defiled.
I can trust no other.
For that rose has pricked me.
And my love sustains my fury.
I must watch my rose wither.
In hands that are ill-suited.
In hands of poison.
