Web Of A Tree Poem by Ragy Sandid

Web Of A Tree

Almost tree branches face my window
And Interlock each other
Not sure if they're hugging
Or ready to let go of a brother

Thin and leaning in tenderness
One rush and it all falls
Can't tell where one starts
And one ends but all appall

The very thought of cushioning
When so hard lean in each other so soft
And even if the end is inevitable
They give each a comfort loft

Thank you for letting me see
Life different than what I know
By staying steady though deathbed ready
Within your fall give way for hope to grow

Window tree, these branches will fall
But I'll keep the image given
A lesson learned. Be hard with a soft heart.
One day we'll need to be forgiven.
