Weary With Thought I Sate Upon A Chair Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Weary With Thought I Sate Upon A Chair

Weary with thought I sate upon a chair
And there to sleep hastened me
Closing my eye to ban thoughts more tiring
And instead more thoughts came to my mind
Which being discoveries, proportions, Principles,
Not to forget any from the resting chair I rose
And without capping worked on these new things
