You have meant so much to me
I don't think you'll ever know
Just how deeply I love you
Because I never let it show

I've never been the kind
To open up my heart
Because every time I did
There was an ending before a start

So many times I've tried
To say, "I love you"
But I always found it difficult
A hard thing for me to do

Many times in the past
I though love was here to stay
But it seems every time
Those feeling would fade away

So, don't be disappointed
If my words of love are few
I know what it's like to be hurt
That's the last thing I want to do to you

So lets just give us time
To see what comes to be
Words of love will be spoken
If there turns out to be a you and me
