We Had Our Chance
We had a body
we had a mind
we had a choice
we had our chance
but we didn't use any of it
Now we are but
a vessel upon this earth
carrying the souls
of what's to come
They will put right
what we did wrong
We had our chance
Well drafted, loved it, But, dear poet, automatically nothing will come, for well being everything we have to try, ....
