We Are Proud Poem by Kenneth Montfort

We Are Proud

Your cute little smirk, dark brown eyes, head full of hair, scent of an angel, skin so soft, what else can I SAY.
I was in love and it had only been just one DAY.

One day,   then a month, then a year and ANOTHER
You and me continuously who wouldn't  love  being a FATHER.

Two adults that couldn't  work it out that particular NIGHT.....doesn't matter who was wrong or RIGHT.....

One day it all came to an end, the sun set and the nightmare BEGINS.
No more everyday, no more after work play it all came to an abrupt END.
Heartbroken I lost my brand new live in FRIEND.

Nothing was the same a few hours on one day and then overnight every 7 days the pain was so RARE.
Pounding Heartbreak, DEEP DEEP down it hurt so bad, MAD MAD MAD at the world and no one seems to CARE.
I LOVE HER TOO SO HOWS THAT FAIR FAIR FAIR IT'S NOT FAIR.

A knife in the back smoked screen with selfish PRIDE.....
My one day comes and you a*#holes f@#*! n HIDE....
WHY WHY WHY....
WHAT WAS EACH AND EVERYVONE AFRAID OF....I LOVE HER TOO NOT JUST YOU YOU AND YOU.

I fought over something that never should have been, I lost but was I the ONLY ONE who really lost.... COLLATERAL DAMAGE that's not on me... not 1 or 2 even more than 3 it was the whole FAMILY....sometimes life isn't fun.....
BUT I'LL NEVER BE DONE.

We was raised to love, encourage, support, and say it LOUD.
We don't want to sit down, be quiet, we're  gonna make some noise, we're  going to stand out in this CROWD.
FOOT STOMPING HAND CLAPPING, ROOFTOP YELLING from the bleachers just to let you know WE still love you WE ARE PROUD.
