Wax Buildup Poem by Heather Burns

Wax Buildup

Strong winds kept blowing
during the night

a candle began to flicker
the flame went out

becoming dark.

Trying too ignite it
the flame would not

adhere to the wick
to much wax buildup.

Beautiful poem. Very true said, wax build up in wick of candle, cannot give us light, wax in ears cannot help us to hear. Loved reading it. Thanks for sharing. Thank you Heather for the beautiful comments for my poems.....

Built up wax covers the wick. Cannot see at night. Cannot hear too because of wax build up in the ear. Beautiful poem.
