Wax Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

Wax

You think it is a change
But it is not

It was there from the beginning

But together they blew
The candle to a flicker

Thankfully from the bottom up
And the top down
The flicker did not drown

And a new flame was
Born to light

And now
There are no more wax drippings....

yep....so important not to huff and to puff and blow the chimney down.... we need to remember to leave space for a toe hold at least....we might just want to turn back and keep the flicker alive. very nice metaphorical and poetic cheers :)
