Waves Poem by David Darbyshire

Waves

Rating: 4.1

I love the Water
I Love the Sea
It's when I fight Her
My smile you will See

Six foot Waves
Crashing on the Beach
To see who Braves
The coast out of Reach

One Wave after the Other
Smashing, me Around
Oh Man Another!
My face hits the Ground

But let me Tell You
There is nothing I'd rather Do
As to be Fighting The Wave
Or my name ain't Dave

Now this one I enjoyed. Obviously you have a passion for the sea as it comes through strongly in a lot of your poetry. Well done. Rosemary
