Watching Poem by Arthur Wall

Watching

Rating: 5.0

Why
do snipings pierce and bones
ride the winds
while You watch?
You give life,
enliven the world atom by atom,
a gene, a word, a breath.
Men
take life and are themselves taken from life,
women
share life and are themselves taken from life.
What do you see, Eternal One?
Are you distracted?
Are we on hold?
While we watch the looked-at blurs,
we listen and the tones come apart,
we love and the glow fades.
Are you smiling
while you watch?

A poignant creation that resonates with the soul in its confused state. Your rendition of words though heightened, is a smooth flow for joy. Thanks for sharing Arthur.

Life is miraculous and death is definite truth. But eternity of universe and eternal laws teach truth. Very amazing poem is shared.10
