Watch Out For Feedback Poem by Professor Poetry Hound

Watch Out For Feedback

Rating: 3.9

While I was praying yesterday I started wondering
what it would be like to hear an unprocessed audio
feed of everyone in the world who was praying at
that very moment. It would be like thousands of
muttering voices all at once, like an avalanche of
prayer. It would sound so incomprehensible and
bizarre, don’t you think? Well, that’s what Jesus
hears and somehow he makes sense out of it. I
wonder if he ever gets bored and plays around with
the sound, maybe runs the signal though some
studio effects like a digital delay or a phase shifter
or even an overdrive. Now THAT would be cool.
Maybe some of those Christian rock groups you’re
always listening to could use this idea to create
some truly innovative and experimental music. Nah,
probably not. They’re all so hopelessly lame. Hey,
why do they all wear their electric guitars riding so
high across their chests?

Answer to end question. They all gave up smoking 15 months ago, so if they left the strap at the old length, they'd have to learn to play like Geoff Healey! Good work, by the way. Danny

Interesting and provocative. I like it, but then I usually like your stuff! Best Wishes, John.
