Economy standards of paper and binding
were required of books printed
in nineteen forty five.
The many atom-sized metallic reflections
that sparkle
from the whiter parts
of a page of print
of my 45 reprint
of the 1911 English translation
of the French one
of 'War And Peace'...
there, below the bottom line,
part of the Southern Cross,
there, one on top of a t,
one at the foot of a k,
one in the hook, and one in the hole of an a
...those twinkles make me think,
'Just orient your eye
and you'll see the stars in the daytime sky.'

I would like to translate this poem
good economy, good life.
