Warp Speed Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Warp Speed

Thoughts please clear
Too many images overly amplified
Words rolling in like tornadoes
With no ending in sight

Through peace, mind will find clearance
Forming patterns through inner sight
Eyes closed awaiting the surge
Towards a third eye's awaking delight

Traveling afar again
In the space and time of this mind
Exploring every destination
Guiding self beyond any confinement

Destiny abundant
In the essence of an indigo cleansing
Wiping out all the burdens of anxiety
The worries inside of me
And depression all but an afterthought

Thoughts please find balance
Tired of thinking way too much
Images and words always storming in
Stronger and stronger
Without an ending in sight

What will it take?
To make you stop for at least a moment's pause
So tired of over thinking
When will it all go away?

Tired of over thinking everything
For what good has it done to my life?

Thoughts always hurt on overdrive
I have had enough
Just a brief moment of relaxation
Please, that is all I ever ask for

Where do we go from here, Anymore?
