Warning Signs Poem by Timothy Branch

Warning Signs

The horizontal line indicates a negative number.
It negates the value of a good value.
The horizontal line indicates the mathematical operation of subtraction.
This tells you that a portion of a number shall be lost upon the execution of this operation.
As much as I resist the study of mathematics, I see glaring truths contained in the recognition of the signs and what they mean.
Good is lost when it has a negative attached to it and subtraction is how to lose a portion that is taken from the whole.
Read these signs for what they tell us on an interpersonal level. Know the signs and do the math.
