Warm And Cozy In New Jersey Poem by June FeirCruz

Warm And Cozy In New Jersey

Raven is raging mad
At this cold weather, oh what a drag!
Shoveling this heavy snow
When he could be writing sonnets or even a haiku.

Raven is raging mad
Sleep eludes him, oh what a drag!
He tried to play his guitar but inspiration eludes him just once more
So he went outside to look up and wait for that fire in the sky.

Raven is raging mad
At the unfairness of it all
He has so much to give, but no worthy recipient it seems
Till he looks at Sophia's sleeping face
And realize everything is so worth it.

**To my beloved friend, Raven Garcia ** Lots, of love, June
