War Today War Tomorrow Poem by samantha cassidy

War Today War Tomorrow

war today
a battle field fresh for a war
millions fighting
for the protection of their mother
there country

Millions with weapons so powerful
and so distractive

people,
scattering around
trying to find a place to hide
remembering the loved ones
they left behind

people getting hurt
people getting killed

a very bad sight
as they see there friends
or family dyeing

wives
mothers
girlfriends
sisters
waiting to know more
about there loved ones
wanting to know if they are alive or dead

families wailing
as they find out
the bad news
no good news herd

war tomorrow
the battle field
scattered with bodies
blood
a sickening sight
millions dead
