War Of The Killer Love Poem by lauren hutchinson

War Of The Killer Love

im better im healed I blocked the bullets with my shield I took the pain but I got back up I took a pill but it made me scream if I only wish this was a dream am I in a game am I playing on a team no this is war the battlefield against the bad as I walk on a path with a gun in hand dreaming of my love the one im fighting for the one with my heart in her hand im soaked with blood and my bodies numb and the gas starts to drown me as I try and reach for my gun I see her face she starts to die as I shoot her till she falls and cry's as I take one look all my friends are dead wasting bodies and hearts bled I slowly fall and close my eyes dreaming of her and all of her lies.
