Wanting Poem by Michael Zavala

Wanting

Rating: 5.0

Death I call your name
Stay here with me
Take me away with you
That’s all I ask of you
I don’t ask much
Just smother my soul into your cold arms
Out of the warmth of society
Out into the world that I belong

A very sad picture painted here, one that haunts me really. I feel this person wants to die, maybe becaue they are in a great deal of pain and calling to death is one way of finding relief. Wanting death to take them away knowing they belong in a place of everlasting life, painless and free. That's the way I see it, Thankyou for sharing.--Melvina--
