Walking In Love

Love is a pleasure to my soul
Giving and receiving
Setting me free, making me whole
All the while believing

The power, the glory, of love’s might
The awesome freedom, it brings
The thrill, joy, the sheer delight
Like flying on angel wings

Oh for love of which I’m writing
If self would humbly bow
How elated, how exciting
Life’s journey will be now

Thank God for Jesus love though
Through love’s obedience died
Yet rose again, life’s seed to sew
That love be magnified

Magnified, true as purest gold
Faithful as faith can be
Multiplied a trillion fold
For all the world to see

The power of Jesus, toiling
His majesty supreme
Gurgling like lava boiling
Into life’s flowing stream

What an explosion, love would cause
Meandering through each land
The saddest soul would give applause
Learning to understand

The Almighty Lord God, Jesus,
The love He failed to hide
Not shared alone to please us
But with us, to abide….
